  • Specialty Crop Production & Marketing
Although alfalfa, grass hay, and permanent pasture comprise the majority of irrigated farm production, specialty crop production is an important component for many small farm producers.
  • Brush & Weed Control
Noxious weeds and brush are found in every part of San Miguel County, and are a serious problem on both rangeland and cropland. In addition to loss of forage production, noxious plants result in serious economic loss to livestock.
